100th Day!

100 Days of Awesomeness!
We had a wonderful party yesterday.  Thank you to all the parents who came in and helped or sent in supplies.  It was a great way to start the day and the week.

PLEASE-do yourself a favor and look at the pictures that Kelli Harsch, Isaac's mom, took during the party.  She is a great photographer.

Reading: We are working on identifying main idea and details when we read non-fiction books.  We are beginning a Mo Willems author study as well.  We love Mo Willems!

Writing:  We continue to work on our How To books during writing.  This week we will learn that we can use Mentor Texts to make our writing even better!

Math:  Apart from celebrating the number 100 for the last few days, we have also wrapped up a short unit on comparing numbers and comparing sets.  We are beginning our addition and subtraction unit and will be focusing on decomposing and composing numbers to 10.

Upcoming Dates:
